Baby's Name and Nursery!

James and I decided on a name for our precious baby girl! I am so excited that we actually agreed to something. We came up with the name before we knew the gender of the baby. I am proud to announce that baby girl's name is: ELIZABETH MAI BLEICK!!! I have always loved Elizabeth and Mai is after the great grandmothers (one in heaven). Mai is after my dad's mom (Mae) and it is spelled in Japanese after James's grandmother who was born in Okinawa, Japan. Now that we have the biggest decision of our life down we are starting another decision of what nursery will look like. James is off this week so he is painting the walls of the nursery a neutral color and is also tackling the great project of painting furniture expresso brown. All that will be left is buying the crib. I have picked out the cutest bedding ever (I think so anyways).

IT'S A GIRL!

Ultrasound and 20 week appointment was scheduled today and ultrasound tech took many measurements and pictures of Baby Bleick. We found out that Baby Bleick is a GIRL! Baby Girl weighs about 10 oz and heartbeat was 150 bpm. Dr. Tidwell stated that everything looks great! I was so relieved to find out that the baby was okay and super excited now I know the gender. I will post pictures soon.

The Dogs and Baby!

Toby and Pepper (the two miniature dachshunds) have been clingy the since the weekend. Toby mainly wants to lay at my side when I am on the couch or in the floor wrapping gifts and doesn't want me out of his sight. Pepper on the other hand wants to lay his head on my belly and whine (he whines a lot so I figured its his way of communicating. Tonight Pepper laid his head on my stomach and was very still and started wagging his tail like crazy. Guess he can he the baby moving. James seems to think that the dogs can hear the baby's heartbeat but I have not found that anywhere online but did read that they can smell the pheromones a pregnant person puts out and they can hear the baby's movements. I dunno but I think its sweet!
